- Pressure treated, creosoted and salt impregnated wood
All sorting stations accept up to 1 m³ of pressure treated wood free of charge. Larger consignments can be brought to the Topinoja and Korvenmäki waste treatment centres for a fee.
Small metal parts like nails and hinges do not need to be removed.
What happens to the waste:
Pressure treated wood is delivered to a recycling terminal. Wood waste is chipped, treated into non-hazardous form and utilised in energy production.
