Pianos are waste that need processing and are not suitable per se in either metal or wood waste. Pianos are taken as coarse waste according to the price list for large amounts of waste. Pianos are taken only by the Korvenmäki and the Topinoja waste treatment centres and they have to be transported to the reception through the scale.
Electric keyboards and electronic organs are taken as electrical devices. All sorting stations and waste treatment centres accept electrical devices free of charges.
Sorting guidelines:
Disused electrical appliances from households are accepted free of charge at all sorting stations. Electrical devices can also be returned to some recycling centres and to some of the shops that sell them. Read more at www.serkierratys.fi.
